When you book directly with us you will receive:

  • Late checkout until 11:00am, allowing you to enjoy a more relaxed morning
  • No upfront payment, meaning the money stays in your account for longer

Yes — Mingarry Park is a wonderful place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions.

If you are celebrating something special during your stay, please let us know in advance and we will be delighted to help make your visit memorable. From chilled Prosecco in your room to a special table in the restaurant, we can help create the perfect celebration.

Check-in is available from 3:15pm onwards.

If you expect to arrive earlier, please call us on 01967 431202 and we will always do our best to accommodate you where possible.

Check-out is 11.00am on the morning of departure when booking direct

If you would prefer a more relaxed departure, late checkout until 12:00 noon may be available for £25. Simply let a member of the team know during your stay.

We serve a freshly prepared cooked breakfast between 8:00am and 9:30am each morning.

If you need to leave earlier for travel plans or the ferry, we can arrange a continental breakfast for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival are free of charge.

Within 7 days of arrival, the first night of your stay will be charged.

Within 24 hours of arrival, the full cost of the booking becomes payable.

Three of our suites feature private outdoor hot tubs, perfect for relaxing while enjoying the views of the surrounding Highland landscape.

Our Shona Beag Suite features a beautiful freestanding stone bath, perfect for relaxing and large enough for two.

All of our other rooms feature modern walk-in showers.

We do not have dedicated family rooms, however one child can be accommodated in our Junior Suites or Suite rooms using a put-up bed (£30 per night).

A travel cot for babies can be provided free of charge upon request.

Unfortunately we do not accept pets at Mingarry Park.

However, we are happy to recommend other accommodation locally that can accommodate you and your pet.

Our Roshven Junior Suite is located on the ground floor and accessed from the main entrance with a ramp.

Please note that the shower has a small lip and the bathroom does not currently have grab rails. A shower chair can be provided upon request.

Our restaurant and dining room are fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Yes, we highly recommend reserving a table in advance, particularly during busy periods.

Our restaurant is very popular with both residents and non-residents and tables can fill quickly. If you would like to dine with us during your stay, we suggest booking your table when making your room reservation or shortly afterwards.

This helps ensure you can enjoy a relaxed evening in our award-winning restaurant during your stay.

We do not have a traditional bar, however guests can enjoy drinks throughout the hotel and gardens.

Our Garden Lounge Pods are particularly popular for enjoying a cocktail, Scottish gin or malt whisky while taking in the beautiful views towards Ben Resipole.

Mingarry Park is located in the peaceful and beautiful region of Moidart on Scotland’s west coast, offering a wonderfully relaxing escape surrounded by nature.

While the setting feels secluded, we are only:

  • 1 hour from Fort William
  • 45 minutes from the Isle of Skye ferry at Mallaig

The journey to Mingarry Park is part of the experience, with some of the most scenic drives in Scotland along the way.

Mingarry Park is approximately 50 minutes’ drive from the ferry terminal at Mallaig.

If you are catching the 9:40am ferry to the Isle of Skye, please let us know and we can have breakfast ready for you at 8:00am.

Alternatively we can prepare a continental breakfast if you wish to leave earlier.

If you are travelling south, the nearest petrol station is located in Strontian, approximately 30 minutes’ drive from Mingarry Park.

If you are travelling north towards Skye, Mallaig also has fuel available around 50 minutes away.

We recommend filling your vehicle before travelling to Mingarry Park as petrol stations are limited in the area.

Ardnamurchan is beautiful at any time of year, however April and May are particularly special months to visit.

Spring brings longer evenings, quiet roads and fresh Highland scenery before the summer season begins.

The summer months are wonderful for exploring the coastline, while September and October offer spectacular autumn colours and peaceful Highland escapes.
